San Fransisco based startup Regen has introduced a new iPod dock that will surely get environmentalists excited. The Reverb uses sunlight to generate power with its integrated photovoltaic panel.
If the sun isn’t shining the Reverb can also plug into your AC outlet for some more conventional power. When fully charged the Reverb can provide up to 12 hours of high quality audio and its cradle allows you to plug in any iPod, iPhone, iPod Touch. It also has a separate input that accepts audio from any media player with a headphone jack.
This device will ship in April of 2010 with a price tag of $2299. There a pre-order deposit of $500 if you would like to reserve one now.
