Hungry as an impoverished Thai? It’s a good thing there’s a 10-course $300,000 meal close by…
On April 5th, 50 extra special VIP’s will be invited to an incredible spread atop Bangkok’s five-star Lebua Hotel. The amazing views from the hotel’s rooftop will compliment the Brittany lobster and Bresse chicken that is often served at this once a year event.
Touted as a “once-in-a-lifetime inspirational dinner“, this 10-course feast is what some are calling “emotional tourism.” Hours before the dinner, guests are escorted by private jet to a village in central Thailand to see impoverished Thais in their day to day struggles. Some diners may even decide to make a donation before heading off for some cocktails, foie gras, and truffle appetizers.
The dinner will cost a staggering $300,000 per person.
