Most Expensive Hot Dog

In an attempt to get themselves in the Guiness Book of World Records, Brockton Rox will be selling the world’s most Expensive Hot Dog.

Serendiptiy 3 in New York City had the title of the world’s most expensive hot dog, Foot Long Haute Dog, selling for $69 before Brockton Rox decided to create their luxury dog. The Rox hot dog starts with a half-pound all-beef foot-log hot dog that is deep fried and rolled in truffle oil. It is then coated with a porcini dust, porcini is a type of mushroom. To finish it off it is sprinkled with white truffle shavings, dolloped with creme fraiche, and topped with caviar and fresh roe. These igredients come together and are served on a blini roll. It went on sale on July 23, National Hot Dog Day, for $80.
