On April 30th, Bonhams Auction House in London will auction off a block the rare vintages and first growths from the cellar of the famed Mirabelle Restaurant in London.
Over 300 lots, including famed champagnes such as Dom Pérignon Oenothéque, Krug Collection, Veuve Clicquot, Clos des Papes, and venerable old bottles of First Growths from Latour 1916 will be offered for sale. The collection is valued at more than $200,000.
The famed Mirabelle Restaurant has been visited by Winston Churchill, Orson Welles, Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. A table in the restaurant is always reserved in case the Queen or any Royal Family members decide to stop by for a quick bite.
