Peter Riches loves doll houses. He loves a particular one so much it took him 15 years to complete. Mr. Riches painstakingly created this miniature 10-bed mansion, with its own servants’ quarters, a music room with grand piano, a hand-crafted games room with snooker table and a library with over 1,000 separately bound books.
Now, his hard work is about to pay off. This tiny work of art is about to sell in the UK for £50,000 (or $82,000) making it the most expensive doll house ever sold. That’s what some real homes cost in the UK! An undisclosed oversees buyer will be the owner of this new tiny home, however it probably won’t be easy for Peter Riches to let go. After all he has spent an average of eight hours every day since 1994 working on the miniature mansion, his biggest ever project.
