HGTV has announced their 2009 Dream House for their yearly house giveaway contest. The dream house this year is a Victorian-style home in Sonoma, California. Priced at $2 million, this package also includes a 2009 GMC Acadia.
Running between January 1 and February 19, this contest is open to the public. Entrants may enter once per day on HGTV.com or as often as they wish by regular mail. Each year HGTV gives away a stunningly designed and fully decorated home to one lucky winner, and this home marks the first time in 13 years the HGTV Dream Home has been in California. The home is being built by vintner and developer Steve Ledson and is part of his Armstrong Estates project (we previously covered one of his homes as an estate of the day). The HGTV website features video and details on every aspect of the home. The HGTV Dream home special airs New Year’s Day 9p/8c.
