The Seiko Spring Drive Spacewalk Watch has been designed to endure the intense surroundings of outer space. Richard Garriott, the sixth private-citizen space explorer will be carrying it while making a trip to space this fall.
Made of lightweight materials the watch features glowing dials for easy readability and and air sealed high-intensity titanium body. Three of 100 watches in this limited edition will be taken into orbit by Garriott on his October adventure and the other 97 will be available for purchase starting in December and priced at $25,000.
