A Trump International Hotel & Tower will soon be built at the trunk of the The Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island off the coast of Dubai.

The tower will be a 48 story hotel and residential building with an estimated cost of U.S. $600 million.

Originally the design consisted of a circular structure resembling an opening golden tulip, but was redesigned to feature a split linked tower with an innovative open core design.  The stainless steel, glass and stone faaded arch-like structure includes a 300-room five-star hotel, 400 residential apartments, boutique offices, retail, gym and spa, restaurants and of course, access to their very own private beach.  Also included will be a yacht club with tennis courts, stylized pools and gardens.
