Diamond-Studded Credit Card

Dubai First Royale MasterCard

Trying to impress a lunch date?  Why not offer to pay with your new diamond-studded credit card from Dubai First.

Dubai First has released the first credit card to include a solitaire diamond imbedded in the card.  Like most ultra-high end credit cards, the Dubai First Royale MasterCard is available by invitation only and targetted only for the Super VIP’s of UAE society.  Only a limited number of these cards will be produced each year according to Ravi Bhardwaj, country corporate officer of Dubai First, and only the most elite movers and shakers of the business world will be invited to join.

The card was created by design consultants Inno Design, and features a black face with a gold metallic border.  The front of the card has a crest and the diamond is positioned inside that crest.

Bhardwaj said, “The card is handcrafted and only nine cards are produced in a day. The manufacture involves 36 processes from metal casting to diamond setting by a jeweller.”

So what sort of perks does a Dubai First Royale MasterCard holder have? (besides bragging rights that is.)  Well, card holders will enjoy preferential access to the Burj Al Arab hotel (the tallest hotel in the world), special yacht charter deals in Dubai and around the world, and a personal relationship manager who will be available for everything from booking jets to arranging invitations for a cardholder’s special event.  A global network will provide additional international perks from hospitality brands, yacht charters, polo clubs, VIP restaurant services, and more.

In addition, the card is the first in the region to offer 4% cash back.  Not a bad return when you’re booking a last minute private jet.
