One of the things that amazed me about this past month’s Royal Wedding of Will and Kate was that all the ladies with the exception of maybe one wore hats. I think that it’s nice and classy to wear hats, and I am sure it is a tradition, but some of the hats I found absolutely ridiculous, Prince Beatrice wore one of those hats.

The rose colored hat that spawned numerous blogs and a facebook page named “Princess Beatrice’s ridiculous Royal Wedding hat”, with more than a 140,000 likes, sold for more than $130,000 in an online auction for a charity for children. The hat went on sale in an everyday ebay auction. I guess one good thing came out of her wearing that ridiculous hat, she received a lot of attention for it and was able to sell it for a good cause.
