Would you Turtle Wax your Aston Martin? Expensive car collectors don’t trust just any product being used on the premium paint job of their luxury automobiles.
Switzerland-based company Swizöl International makes products specifically formulated for luxury cars. Their Onyx brand car wax is priced at $95, and it goes up from there. A $40 pretreatment is required if you want to get the most out of your buffing and polishing, which is available seperately.
Swizöl waxes are made from between 30% to 60% carnauba, allowing them to reach an unrivaled level of hardness and transparency. Carnauba is a wax derived from the leaves of the carnauba palm (Copernicia prunifera), a plant native to northeastern Brazil.
The most expensive Swizöl brand wax is called “Divine” and is specially formulated for the owner’s car based on the color and the paint used. This wax comes with a hand-engraved plaque bearing the owner’s name and the serial number, as well as a certificate of authenticity. For $2,800, you can purchase this elite wax and pamper your automobile. However, the actual waxing of your vehicle is something you’ll have to pay for seperately.
